Overview
The Vendors module is your directory of suppliers. Each vendor record holds the company profile, tax details, contacts, bank accounts and currency that Purchase, Goods Receipt and Payments all read from. Onboard a vendor correctly once, and every purchase order and payment uses the right details.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Onboard vendors: register a supplier with company, tax, contact, currency and address details, using a simple form or a guided step-by-step wizard.
- Manage contacts: record multiple contacts with role tags (sales, accounts, dispatch, technical) and one primary.
- Store bank details securely: capture IFSC/MICR/SWIFT accounts, hold multiple accounts with a default for payments, and reveal protected numbers under audit.
- Classify vendors: by segment, currency and region, keeping Pump and Valve sourcing separable.
- Track payables: see AP outstanding, overdue status, and generate a vendor Statement of Account.
- Map to external systems: store per-vendor integration keys (for example Tally) so bills and payments sync without manual matching.
- Find and act: a searchable directory that doubles as a verification queue, plus an inline vendor picker on purchase orders.

Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Every vendor belongs only to your organisation, vendor data is never shared with any other organisation, and the same GSTIN can exist independently in two organisations without clashing.
- Bank details are hidden from users whose role isn’t permitted to see them.
- Every change (create, edit, activate/inactivate, delete, mapping change) is recorded in an unchangeable audit trail.
