Offers overview
An offer is your quotation to a customer. The offer module is one engine that works for any product category your tenant configures, the Pump board and the Valve board are the same board pointed at a different category, not separate code. You build the offer cost and price every line, add commercial terms, move it through its stages, and when the customer accepts you convert the Won offer straight into an order.
The offer board
Section titled “The offer board”Each category has an offer dashboard you can view two ways:
- Kanban: offers grouped into columns by stage (Enquiry / Technical / Commercial / Submitted), so you see where every deal sits. A group-by toggle can instead group by status, owner or category.
- List: a sortable table showing S.No, work-order id, reference, date, entity (customer), value, stage and status.
Switching between the two keeps your active filters. Headline KPIs (open offers, pipeline value, won this period, win rate) sit above the board for the current period.
Searching and filtering
Section titled “Searching and filtering”- Search by work-order id, reference or customer name (case-insensitive). A no-match query shows a clear empty state. Newly created, edited or deleted offers show up in search within about half a minute, and deleted offers never appear.
- Filter by stage, status (Hold / Won / Regret / Lost / Close), created-date range and owner, plus a multi-select product category filter. Filters combine, appear as removable chips, and can be cleared all at once. You can bookmark or share the link to reopen the same filtered view.
By default you see your own offers; a manager sees all. Everything is scoped to your tenant.
Stage vs status
Section titled “Stage vs status”Two independent ideas track every offer:
- Stage: how far the offer has progressed: Enquiry → Technical → Commercial → Submitted.
- Status: the deal’s outcome: Hold, Won, Regret, Lost, Close. Only a Submitted offer can be marked Won, and only a Won offer can convert to an order.
