Login history & security alerts

Villva ERP keeps a record of sign-in activity and can warn you when something looks out of the ordinary, so you can react quickly if it wasn’t you.

Every sign-in attempt is recorded with:

  • The date and time
  • The device and browser
  • The IP address
  • The outcome: success, failure, or locked

Password changes and resets are recorded too. These entries are append-only: they can’t be edited or deleted, so the history is always trustworthy.

An Org Admin can review the login history for users in the organisation (and only their own organisation) to investigate access issues, filtering by user, date range or outcome. See Users & roles.

Villva watches for logins that don’t fit your usual pattern, for example a sign-in from a different country in a short window, a never-seen-before location, or an off-hours login from an unusual address.

When something looks off:

  • You get an alert by email and in-app, so you can check it was you.
  • If it wasn’t you, change your password and review your active sessions straight away.
  • If it was you, marking the alert as safe helps Villva learn your pattern and reduces false alarms.
  • A “Recent security alerts” area on your sessions page keeps these together.

These alerts are a heads-up, not a block: they notify you rather than stopping the login. Your Org Admin can tune how sensitive the alerts are, and is notified if the same account triggers repeated anomalies.
