Modules & feature flags
You can tailor which modules your team sees, within the set your organisation is entitled to. Managing visibility is admin-only and audited.
Show or hide modules
Section titled “Show or hide modules”As an Org Admin you control which entitled modules appear in your organisation’s navigation:
- Open the module settings.
- Show or hide any entitled module.
- Save.
How it behaves:
- A module appears and is usable only when it is both entitled and enabled.
- Hiding a module removes it from the navigation for everyone and blocks its screens; re-enabling restores it.
- Your data is preserved when a module is hidden, re-enabling later brings the history back with nothing lost.
- Mandatory modules (sign-in, settings and access control) can never be disabled.
Entitlements, controlled by Villva
Section titled “Entitlements, controlled by Villva”Which modules your organisation is allowed to use (your entitlement) is set by Villva at the platform level, not inside your organisation. Think of entitlement as the ceiling: you can only show modules that your entitlement covers.
- You cannot enable a module you are not entitled to.
- If Villva removes an entitlement, the module becomes unavailable even if you had it enabled, but your existing data is preserved and is restored if the entitlement is granted again.
Feature flags, controlled by Villva
Section titled “Feature flags, controlled by Villva”Some early-access or experimental capabilities are gated by feature flags, which Villva controls per organisation. These are separate from module entitlement and let new capabilities roll out gradually. You may see a feature appear or change when a flag is switched on for your organisation.
