Signing in

You sign in to Villva ERP on your organisation’s own web address, for example yourcompany.villva.com. That address always loads your organisation’s data.

  1. Go to your organisation’s address.
  2. Enter your email and password.
  3. If your organisation uses two-factor authentication, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. See Two-factor authentication.
  4. You land on your dashboard.

A few things to know:

  • Sign-in is email and password only (optionally with an authenticator code). There is no SMS, one-time-code or magic-link login.
  • Your account belongs to one organisation. The right password on the wrong organisation’s address will not let you in.
  • If your credentials are wrong you get a generic “invalid credentials” message, it never reveals whether an email exists.
  • There is no register link: accounts are created by invitation only.

If you were invited, you first set your own password:

  1. Open the invite link from your email (it works on your organisation’s address).
  2. Enter a new password. The form shows the password rules as you type. See Passwords.
  3. Submit. You are taken to the login page with a success message, and can now sign in.

Invite links are single-use and expire after 48 hours. If yours has expired or was already used, the page tells you clearly and points you to ask your Org Admin for a fresh invite (there is no self-service option for this).

To slow down guessing, your account is temporarily locked after several failed sign-in attempts in a row.

  • You’ll see a friendly message with a countdown showing how long to wait.
  • The lock clears itself after the cooldown, you are never permanently shut out.
  • A successful sign-in (or a password reset) clears the count.

If sign-in attempts are coming very fast, you may also briefly see a “please wait a few seconds” message, just wait and try again.

  • Account inactive or still pending activation: you’ll get clear next-step guidance (activate your invite, or ask your Org Admin to reactivate you).
  • Organisation unavailable: if an address is unknown or suspended, a friendly page explains it rather than showing an error.
  • Sign-in blocked from this network: if your organisation restricts sign-in to approved office networks and you’re connecting from somewhere else, you’ll see a generic “can’t sign in from here” message. Sign in from an approved network, or ask your Org Admin to add your current one. See Restricting sign-in to your office networks.
