Finding customers
The customer list
Section titled “The customer list”The list is your main entry point for customer management, a paginated, sortable directory of your customers showing:
- Name and primary contact
- GST / PAN
- Status
- Outstanding balance
Filtering and sorting
Section titled “Filtering and sorting”- Filter by active, inactive, overdue, and category/segment.
- Sort by name, created date, or financial value (outstanding).
- The Overdue filter returns only customers past their payment terms with a balance due.
The list only ever shows your organisation’s customers.
Searching
Section titled “Searching”Search finds a customer by whatever you know, it matches across:
- Customer name
- Phone
- GSTIN
- Contact names
Search supports partial and case-insensitive matches, and respects any active filters (for example, searching within the Valve segment).
The customer detail page
Section titled “The customer detail page”Opening a customer shows a tabbed detail page.
Overview tab
Section titled “Overview tab”- Complete customer information and contact details.
- A financial summary: outstanding receivables, credit balance and credit available.
- An activity timeline of recent updates and actions, newest first.
Bank and credit figures are masked here for roles without permission to see them.
Transactions tab
Section titled “Transactions tab”Lists every linked quote, order, invoice and payment for the customer. Each row links back to its source document, so everything is traceable to this customer.
Communication tab
Section titled “Communication tab”Shows emails, communication history and internal notes. You can add an internal note here; it appears in the timeline, attributed to you and timestamped.
Both tabs show only this customer’s records.
