Overview

The Items (products) module is the canonical catalogue every transaction module reads from, sales, production, procurement and stores all pull item details from here. A well-built item carries its identity, classification, variants, materials, technical specs, pricing and stock policy in one place.

What you can do

Create products: capture core identity (name, code, make, model, HSN), availability flags and classification through a multi-step form.
Model variants: define size/rating/material variants of a template product, and map parent variants to child variants.
Define materials (MOC): set the materials a pump or valve can be built in, down to per-component material maps.
Build the BOM: link inclusive components and consumables, and maintain a formal versioned bill of materials.
Stay tax-compliant: validate every HSN/SAC against the GST master.
Manage pricing: import vendor prices, and maintain multi-vendor pricing per material variant.
Configure stock: set reorder levels, safety stock and opening balances.
Handle compliance: hazardous-material flags, country-of-origin and customs codes, warranty and return policies.
Import in bulk: upload a spreadsheet with a validated preview before committing.

Good to know

Items belong only to your organisation, you never see another tenant’s catalogue, and the same product code can exist in two organisations independently.
Every create, update, delete and import is recorded in an unchangeable audit trail, and each action requires the matching permission.
