Overview
Inventory is the stock backbone of Villva ERP. Every quantity you see, on the shop floor, in a report, on a dashboard, comes from one accurate, tamper-evident record of stock movements. Receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, reconciliations and production postings all flow through the same place, so your books can never drift out of step with what is physically in your warehouses.
What Inventory does for you
Section titled “What Inventory does for you”- One source of truth for stock. On-hand quantity and value are always derived from the recorded movements, so every screen agrees with every other screen.
- Correct stock value at all times. Stock is valued at moving-average cost, so closing stock and cost of goods sold stay right after every receipt and issue.
- No impossible stock. A built-in guard blocks any movement that would push a balance below zero.
- Full traceability. Serial and batch numbers, per-warehouse log books, and an append-only audit trail let you trace any item back to the day it arrived.
- Quality gating. Goods flagged for inspection are held in a QC bucket and can only reach usable stock after a recorded quality pass.
