Tenant Admins can tailor the item master to how your business works. Item settings are specific to your organisation and require the item-settings permission, only a Tenant Admin can change them.

What you can configure

• Product-code format and series: set the prefix and number series used to auto-generate codes.
• Default business unit: pre-select Pump or Valve on new items.
• Serial-tracking default: whether new items are serial-tracked by default.
• Attribute and document templates: manage the reusable templates that appear when building items.
• Default classification pre-fills: sensible defaults for type, group and so on.
• Default unit-of-measure list: the UoM options offered across the master.
• Create-form sections: toggle the optional sections (variants, components, consumables, templates, integrations, pricing, suppliers) on or off, so the create form matches your process.
• Excel import column mappings: map your spreadsheet columns to item fields for bulk import.

Every configuration change is limited to your organisation.
