Activity, notes and timeline

Every customer keeps a timeline of what has happened, creation, updates and transaction linkage are all recorded as activity events, shown newest first on the detail page. It’s the quickest way to see the story of a relationship end to end.

The timeline brings together the customer’s business events from sales, finance and communication. Each entry shows the event type, time, who did it, and a link through to the source record. You can filter by event type and date range, and the timeline is paged with the newest entries first.

The detail page shows clickable count badges for:

  • Offers
  • Orders / Invoices
  • Services

Click any badge to drill down into the underlying records. Counts and drill-downs are scoped to your organisation and stay segment-correct.

Notes are free-form, internal-only remarks, call summaries, observations, escalation context, that stay with the customer and are never visible to customer-portal users.

To add a note, open the customer’s communication area and enter your note. Notes are shown in reverse-chronological order with the author, timestamp and content.

  • You can edit or delete only your own notes.
  • A Tenant Admin can delete any note (this is audit-logged).
  • Notes support basic formatting (paragraphs and line breaks) up to a maximum length.
  • Every note create, edit and delete is audit-logged.
